Operations Manager

• Oversee day-to-day operations of branches and loan processing workflows
• Ensure loan turnaround times, accuracy of documents and adherence to credit policy
• Design and improve operational processes and internal controls
• Supervise branch and operations staff, set targets and review performance
• Coordinate with finance on disbursements, collections and reconciliation of the loan book
• Ensure compliance with the institution's policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare operational performance reports and recommend corrective actions

Mackenzie Microfinance Limited is recruiting an Operations Manager to oversee branch and loan operations, compliance and service delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of branches and loan processing workflows
• Ensure loan turnaround times, accuracy of documents and adherence to credit policy
• Design and improve operational processes and internal controls
• Supervise branch and operations staff, set targets and review performance
• Coordinate with finance on disbursements, collections and reconciliation of the loan book
• Ensure compliance with the institution's policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare operational performance reports and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field
• At least three years of operations or credit experience, preferably in a microfinance or financial institution

Skills & Competencies:

• Team supervision and leadership
• Process design and internal controls
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong reporting and communication skills
