Geneva Global Uganda is implementing the UNICEF-funded education program, a multi-year initiative that expands access to education and strengthens pathways for out-of-school children and adolescents in refugee-hosting and underserved communities. The program combines the Speed School accelerated learning model with community engagement, caregiver empowerment through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and education systems strengthening to improve learners’ enrollment, retention, transition, and long-term success in education.
Based in Arua, West Nile region, with significant travel to program districts and Kampala head office, the Program Coordinator serves as a key link between Program Managers, Program Officers, district stakeholders, and community structures to support high-quality implementation across the program’s education, community engagement, and systems-strengthening components. The role provides technical guidance, implementation oversight, and coordination support to ensure consistent delivery of the Speed School model, SHG interventions, stakeholder engagement activities, and monitoring processes across districts.
