Quality Assurance Manager - Cocoa Producing Company

• Maintain the quality management system, standards and specifications; supervise the Quality Assurance team
• Conduct regular branch audits; ensure equipment calibration and testing
• Liaise with production, purchasing, logistics and customers
• Receive, investigate and resolve all quality complaints; maintain a central register of complaints/non-conformances
• Assign owners and track every quality issue until closed
• Complete root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Update SOPs, work instructions and training following lessons learned
• Report quality trends and KPIs to management
• Perform scheduled and surprise inspections; monitor supplier, branch and warehouse compliance
• Recommend improvements and deliver training
• Ensure export and customer specifications are achieved
• Manage QA staff; communicate effectively with branches and customers; build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Food Science, Quality Management or a related field
• 5+ years' quality assurance experience in agriculture, food processing or exports
• Strong root cause analysis and CAPA experience
• Experience managing SOPs, audits and quality systems
• Willingness to travel extensively within Uganda
