Records Officer

• Maintain an efficient records management system for both physical and electronic records
• Receive, register, classify and file incoming and outgoing documents
• Ensure secure storage and confidentiality of company records
• Facilitate timely retrieval and distribution of records to authorized staff
• Monitor records retention schedules and coordinate archiving and disposal
• Maintain an updated records inventory and tracking system
• Support compliance with statutory, audit and regulatory documentation requirements
• Assist departments in proper documentation and records handling procedures
• Prepare periodic reports on records management activities
• Ensure records are protected from loss, damage, unauthorized access, or deterioration

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Records and Archives Management, or Library and Information Science
• At least 2 years of experience in records management or administrative records functions
• Knowledge of records management principles, filing systems and document control procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic records management systems
