Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Acquire, grow and manage a portfolio of self-employed customers with annual business turnover above UGX 100 million, delivering individual lending targets
- Work with branch teams, personal banking teams, Credit (Valuation, Collections & Recoveries) and Legal, Securities and Registration to onboard and serve customers
- Assess customer needs and structure appropriate lending and banking solutions for self-employed clients
- Grow deposits, cross-sell the bank's products and ensure portfolio quality
- Maintain compliance with the bank's credit policies and procedures
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (per advert requirements)
- Proven relationship management and business development experience in banking, ideally in SME or self-employed lending
- Sound knowledge of credit assessment for business customers
Skills & Competencies:
- Portfolio acquisition and growth
- Credit structuring and risk awareness
