Sales Executive (Advertising)

StarTimes Uganda is seeking passionate and result-driven Advertising Sales Executives to join its Advertising Department. The role plays a crucial part in driving advertising revenue for the company's local channels, Makula TV and Makula Kika, through client sales pitches, proposal writing and accurate sales projections. This role is fully commission-based.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure advertising revenue targets for TV channels and sponsorship projects are consistently met or exceeded
Conduct persuasive sales pitches to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of advertising on the company's channels
Develop and present compelling proposals to clients that outline advertising opportunities and value
Write accurate sales projections to assist in strategic planning and decision making

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in advertising sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent negotiation and client management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
