Sales & Marketing Officer

• Recruit new loan clients and grow the institutional loan book against set targets
• Market Mackenzie's loan products to individuals, SMEs and institutions
• Conduct field activations, market days and customer sensitisation sessions
• Screen client enquiries, explain loan terms and guide applicants through the process
• Build referral networks with employers, SACCOs, market associations and agents
• Track competitor offerings and report market intelligence to management
• Maintain accurate client records and submit weekly sales performance reports

Mackenzie Microfinance Limited is recruiting a Sales and Marketing Officer to grow the loan book through client acquisition and product promotion.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit new loan clients and grow the institutional loan book against set targets
• Market Mackenzie's loan products to individuals, SMEs and institutions
• Conduct field activations, market days and customer sensitisation sessions
• Screen client enquiries, explain loan terms and guide applicants through the process
• Build referral networks with employers, SACCOs, market associations and agents
• Track competitor offerings and report market intelligence to management
• Maintain accurate client records and submit weekly sales performance reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
• Experience in sales or customer acquisition, preferably in financial services

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong selling and negotiation skills
• Customer care and relationship building
• Ability to work in the field and meet targets
• Good reporting and record keeping
