Senior Internal Auditor

• Review operational financial and accounting systems to ensure efficiency
• Audit procurement and payment procedures to facilitate efficient and effective transactions of the Local Government
• Carry out manpower audits in line with the budget and laws
• Conduct stores audits for safe custody, efficiency and economic usage of resources
• Undertake Local Government audits in liaison with the Auditor General
• Prepare and forward annual and quarterly departmental work plans and budgets to relevant authorities

Qualifications & Experience:

• An Honours Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Auditing from a recognised university, plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, Business Administration or Auditing; or full professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing plus a minimum of a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management or Auditing
• At least three years of working experience at the level of an Internal Auditor in a public or reputable organisation
