Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, present menus and take accurate orders.
- Serve food and beverages to standard and within expected timing.
- Advise guests on menu items, allergens and drink options.
- Keep service stations clean and reset tables promptly.
- Process orders through the POS and present bills correctly.
- Respond to guest requests and escalate issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- O-level education or equivalent.
- Prior restaurant, bar or hotel service experience is an advantage.
- Food hygiene awareness is desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Friendly, professional guest manner.
- Good memory and attention to order detail.
- Teamwork and speed during busy service.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
