Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and manage the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
- Plan and shoot in-store content, including photos, reels, stories and UGC-style videos
- Engage the community by responding to comments and DMs and building genuine audience relationships
- Identify and onboard UGC creators and micro-influencers for brand collaborations
- Track and report weekly on content performance, covering reach, engagement, saves and conversions
- Support in-store activations and events with live coverage and content capture
- Stay current on beauty trends, Kenyan social culture and platform algorithm changes
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications or related)
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management and content creation
Skills & Competencies:
- Creative, strategic and results-driven
- Skilled in content shooting and editing (photos, reels, stories, UGC-style videos)
- Strong community engagement and influencer collaboration skills
- Data-literate, able to track and report content performance
