Tax Manager

• Kenya Tax Compliance & Reporting
• Tax Compliance
• Manage and ensure the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of all Kenyan statutory tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT)
• Ensure full compliance with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) requirements, including eTIMS/TIMS obligations and related tax regulations.
• Tax Advisory
• Provide expert tax advice on: Business operations and transactions, Intercompany arrangements, Corporate restructurings and Tax implications of commercial initiatives and strategic projects
• Tax Audits & Dispute Resolution
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
• Lead and manage: Tax audits, Investigations, Objections, Appeals and dispute resolution processes
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel where required.
• Africa Markets & Airtel Head Office Entities
• Regional Compliance Coordination

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate degree; Professional qualification in Accounting /Taxation
• Mandatory – CPA(K), ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification. Postgraduate Diploma or master’s degree in taxation or related discipline will be added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 – 10 years hands on tax experience. Experience gained within a: Big Four accounting firm; and/or Multinational corporation operating across multiple jurisdictions. Demonstrated experience managing tax compliance, audits, tax accounting, transfer pricing and other related matters.
