HR Beyond Limits is recruiting a Technical Resources & IT Systems Officer on behalf of a membership organization in Kampala. The officer will manage IT infrastructure, membership databases, cloud services, and digital resource portals. Reporting to executive leadership, the role delivers user support, maintains system backups, and ensures robust cybersecurity controls.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain office computer hardware, software applications, network connectivity, cloud services, and website functionality.
Manage member registration databases, digital subscription renewals, and user access credentials.
Organize technical resource portals, create analytical management dashboards, and generate system usage reports.
Execute regular data backups, enforce cybersecurity protocols, and manage user access permissions.
Provide technical support and digital tools training to non-technical organizational staff members.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Holds a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or ICT.
Possesses practical experience in computer troubleshooting, database management, and cloud system administration.
Demonstrates practical familiarity with web administration, membership databases, and data backup protocols.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong IT troubleshooting, database administration, and web management competencies.
Excellent data privacy awareness, organization, and technical support skills for non-technical users.
