Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon their arrival and escort them to their tables, creating an inviting ambiance
- Accurately take customer orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff for timely preparation
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality meet established standards
- Assist guests with menu navigation, answer questions, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and service stations, throughout the shift
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school education
- Less than 2 years of experience; previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an advantage
- Permanent contract, based in Kanombe, Kigali
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills and intermediate English
- Attentive to guests, well-presented, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
