Warehouse Intern

• Receive and issue stock items, maintaining accurate and updated inventory records
• Prepare items for dispatch by assisting in loading while strictly adhering to batch management procedures
• Participate in regular warehouse cycle counts and year-end physical stock takes
• Coordinate Uganda Annual Business Plans (ABPs) replenishment and ensure timely submission of vendor invoices to the Nairobi warehouse
• Organize warehouse layout for optimal space utilization, product segregation, and easy accessibility
• Maintain proper housekeeping and participate in 6S warehouse organization activities
• Follow Solenis EHS safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Promptly report any safety hazards or equipment code/malfunctions to the Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of progressive warehouse management or logistics experience
• Forklift or lifting equipment certification/experience is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
• Understanding of inventory control, batch management, and cycle counting
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols and 6S methodologies
• Strong organizational and physical inventory handling skills
• Good interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
