The Workshop Sales Consultant will act as the primary link between customers and the workshop, responsible for promoting and selling maintenance packages, repair services, and spare parts.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with workshops, fleet operators, and retail customers.
- Promote workshop services, preventive maintenance programmes, service contracts, and campaigns.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for labour, parts, and workshop revenue.
- Plan and execute customer visits and report to the after-sales commercial manager.
- Explain repair requirements, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Monitor job progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Maintain a database of customers and prospect new workshop business.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- A Diploma or bachelor's degree in a Business or Automotive discipline.
- Two years' experience in sales & marketing in the Automotive industry.
- Product/Automotive Industry Knowledge.
- Valid Driver's License (Manual Transmission is a Must).
- Intermediary Computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
