Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Theoretical and practical instruction in the area of specialization
- Preparing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, trainee records, teaching and learning materials
- Carrying out trainee assessment
- Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Conducting co-curricular activities
- Maintaining trainees’ discipline
- Guiding and counseling trainees
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Clothing, Fashion Design, or Textile Technology or its equivalent
- Certificate in instructors’ course from Kenya School of TVET/KTTC
- Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong practical and instructional skills in the area of specialization
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to trainee discipline, guidance and counseling
