Recruiter, Africa

• Manage full life-cycle recruiting for a broad and complex mix of roles across Africa, including regular, fixed-term, contract, temporary and cross-regional positions
• Build strong consultative partnerships with hiring managers, Regional HR colleagues and the HR Director to align recruitment strategies
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, recruitment approaches and evaluation criteria
• Leverage advanced sourcing techniques, market research and professional networks to identify and engage active and passive candidates across Africa
• Review applications, conduct phone screens and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Manage interview processes to ensure meaningful, professional and fair assessments and advise hiring managers throughout debriefs and offer negotiations
• Create competitive offers, coordinate approvals and present offers in a compelling and compliant manner
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with regional employment requirements, Safer Recruitment standards, safeguarding principles and data protection expectations
• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring data within Workday and related reporting tools
• Coordinate interview scheduling, logistics and job posting processes, and support onboarding coordination

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of full life-cycle recruiting experience; exposure to other core HR functions is an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple countries or markets, preferably within Africa
• Experience using ATS and HCM systems, with Workday Recruiting preferred
